The environmentalist, teacher and artist Ric Obenza is named one of the seven awardees for the 48th Datu Bago Awards. Other Awardees chosen by the Datu Bago Award Organization, Inc. (DBAOI) are Bro. Ricardo “Ric” N. Obenza, Jr.—a 72-year-old artist, teacher, and environmentalist who lives in Calinan, Davao City—has dedicated his life to improving the Davao environment by planting native trees with student volunteers and by sharing his love of art and nature with the youth.
